We had such a great time exploring NYC that we arrived with only 2 hours to spare at the IMATS in SoHo New York City! This was the first IMATS in NYC and it was SOLD OUT and a great success! The makeup show was held at an old building that caters to smaller events and exhibitions (at 82 Mercer in SoHo) which was only 50,000 sqft. I spent the 2 hours shopping for Royal & Langnickel makeup brushes, OCC airbrush foundations, makeup art books and some glow in the dark makeup palettes (among other things).

This year in 2012, the IMATS NYC will be held at a much larger venue – Pier 94 at 711 12th Ave in Midtown Manhattan and will cover more than 110,000 sqft… Kandee Johnson will be speaking as well as key-note speaker Fashion Artist Kabuki. It’s going to be a good one and another sellout!
